Want to build a BRAND NEW niche site and start ranking as quickly as possible, without risking a Google penalty?
Follow this blueprint:
1. Find a niche with plenty of easy keyword opportunities.
HUGE bonus if it's a niche you're knowledgeable about.
(If you're struggling to find one, I'm building Curated Niches to help with this.
2. Choose a SINGLE TOPIC to focus on within your niche.
Topical authority is absolutely vital these days.
Make sure the topic is large enough that there are at least dozens of keywords to target/articles you could write.
3. Find as many relevant keywords within the topic as you can.
A paid tool like LowFruits (aff link) can speed up the process quite a bit.
For free keyword research methods, this thread of threads should help you out:
Even if a keyword in your topic is competitive, you should target it to help build your topical authority.
Low competition keywords will drive initial traffic, but don't expect ANY traffic if you don't have great topical authority (which means targeting EVERY relevant keyword).

4. Figure out the internal linking structure before you even publish a single article.
EVERY article should have links pointing to it from other articles - and each link must make sense contextually.
The more important the article, the more links should point to it.
5. Write the articles. Make each objectively the BEST resource on the topic.
Read all the other articles targeting that keyword for inspiration. Make yours even better.
